A custom tattoo is a design developed for your idea. The subject, scale and placement are planned together, with the artist's own drawing style shaping the result. At INTO Tattoo Studio, a rough idea or a drawing of your own is enough to begin the conversation.
From an idea to a design for your body
First, we establish the direction: what should the tattoo show, which elements are essential and where will it go? A drawing for the forearm needs different proportions from a composition across the shoulder and back. Existing tattoos also affect the space available.
For appointments with Anna aka a_graphic_ink, Cathy, Karo, Kosta · Kanstantink and Lisa, you discuss, develop and refine the design with your chosen artist in the studio on the day of your tattoo appointment. If you need an earlier drawing, agree that before booking. Large projects, guest artists and particular revision requests need their own arrangements.
Questions about developing the design
Can I use my own drawing?
Yes. Explain which elements matter to you. Spacing and proportions may need adjusting for the placement you want. Discuss changes before tattooing so it is clear which parts you want to preserve.
How are revisions or additional design work agreed?
Discuss the scope and timing with the artist. If you need several versions or a particular advance deadline, include that in the planning. Any separate terms for that work need to be clarified for your project.
Is an “individual” tattoo a different service?

How can several personal ideas work together in one design?

I give one subject the leading role and arrange the others around it. A flower might define the shape, while a memory is suggested through a curve or a small accent. This keeps the important connections without making several equally prominent images compete for attention. The whole drawing still needs a clear structure.
When would you simplify the details or allow more space?

When a head, fine inner lines and several colour areas sit close together, I first identify what makes the subject recognisable. A distinctive outline may matter more than every small texture. If those textures are essential to you, more space is one option. Otherwise, I can focus the drawing on its main features.

What price ranges can help you plan?
Our published guide lists €250–450 for small, detailed designs and €300–900 for medium compositions. These are nonbinding categories to help you plan, rather than a fixed custom tattoo price.
Closely drawn details, shading or a complex arrangement can involve more work than a larger simple outline. The artist and placement also affect the estimate. Payment is currently in cash.
